| Annoyed So I rarely write publicly but I feel this warrants being public because it pisses me off and I've come to the conclusion that the city is full of pervs. I notice they're mostly construction workers or weirdos driving pick up trucks or in general just low lifes. And I dress quite classy and respectful. To add to annoyance, the article this past weekend in the Star about the TTC not being safe in numbers about pervs with mirrors on their shoes and shit like that scares the crap out of me. A note to the perverted douches of Toronto: Making comments to women isn't going to garner you attention that you sadly desperately crave. I feel sorry for you. | | |
| Things I Do Not Understand
1. The big geeky black framed glasses trend. Why? 2. A girl who came into the locker room (at the gym) beside me and sat down and read her book. Why? | | |
| Bothersome
<rant> I don't really write unless something truly annoys me. I find it incredibly annoying when people don't have the common decency to respond back to you with a yes/no, even a simple thanks. This especially irks me when these people have Crackberries and are known "Crack Addicts". Come on, we know you're viewing the email/text right away, how long out of your sweet precious time does it take to hit respond and type out a simple answer. I don't get it. I wonder if I should just write these people off. They obviously don't care that you or others care about them. Crackberries are causing alienation people just hiding behind their "smart phones". It may end up leaving one with no social circle in the end. Hmmm so what are you going to do on Facebook on your Crackberry when there's no one on your friends list? </rant>

| Observations At The Gym
I always despise this time of year because the locker room gets busier and people are close to me while I'm changing and I have to wait to use the equipment of my choice. It's kind of entertaining watching the newbies. Observations:
2 girls beside me while I'm changing to go home. One girl is sitting on the bench trying to figure out how to open the lock my gym provides for the lockers. Her friend tells her how to open it and she still can't open it.
Walking side-by-side on the running track. This always is a challenge because when I run I have to dodge in and out of traffic to maintain my speed.
And I don't normally run to begin with because my choice of cardio has a lineup that I don't have the time to wait in.
People who walk barefoot into the showers. Nasty.

| Random return with an update on life.
Today life is: Multi-tasking, because there isn't enough time to do one thing at a time these days.
Oh how I miss 3 day weekends, every weekend. Sure those Fridays I'd probably study but at least I could show up at the library when I wanted and leave when I wanted. Go to the gym and take my time to workout and not force myself out by a certain time to get home. Life is quite structured now even my workout is very structured (because I know I can finish it all by a certain time)....I miss the la-di-da of a student's life. La-di-da in a sense that I could do things when I wanted. And to think that type of lifestyle won't return until retirement.
Sometimes I just want to stay at home and do nothing. Watch daytime TV and make a soup and sandwich for lunch. Take a walk in the afternoon (in shoes that aren't high heels). NAP. Watch Oprah.
